What is an AI-optimized website?

It is a site that is legible to the systems now answering your buyers' questions, not just to Google's ranked links. In practice that means structured data on every page, clear entity and service definitions, answer-ready paragraphs that survive being quoted alone, an FAQ built from real questions, and internal linking that makes the relationships between your pages explicit. We audit all of it before the build, then design the pages so visibility and conversion are the same job rather than competing ones.

Can you optimize our existing website instead of rebuilding it?

Yes. We audit the existing site first. If the underlying structure and content are worth preserving, we optimize and improve it: rewrite the pages that matter, fix the architecture and structured data, tighten internal linking, and add the pages you are missing. If the foundation is holding the business back, we recommend a rebuild. We are not going to push you into a full rebuild you don't need.

Can you build a completely new website?

Yes. New builds start with positioning and messaging, then information architecture, SEO and AEO research, page and conversion strategy, copywriting, design and development, structured data, analytics, and launch. The search strategy comes first and the design serves it, which is the opposite order to most website projects.

Do you build on Squarespace or Shopify?

Both, and the audit decides which. Custom builds make sense when the site is the product or the requirements outgrow a template. Squarespace and Shopify make sense when you want your own team editing pages and processing orders without a developer in the loop, and both can be made legible to search engines and AI systems. We will also migrate an existing site rather than start over where the content is worth keeping. You own the store, the catalog and the payment account either way.

Concretely: clear definitions of what you sell, strong information architecture, pages aligned with search intent, direct answers to the questions buyers actually ask, structured data, internal linking, entity and brand information, and expertise signals where they apply. It is an extension of good SEO and clear writing, not a separate trick.

Do you provide ongoing SEO and AEO content?

Yes, and for most clients it is the longest part of the relationship. Search demand shifts, competitors publish, and AI search changes what gets surfaced, so we keep researching opportunities, publishing new pages and articles, refreshing content that has slipped, improving internal linking and conversion, and monitoring visibility. It runs monthly, and what we produce in a given month follows what the data says will move the business.

A relaunch should not cost you the authority you have already built.

No. No legitimate agency can guarantee rankings or AI citations. We optimize the technical foundation, content, structure, and authority signals that influence visibility, and we continuously measure the results. Anyone promising you guaranteed rankings or guaranteed inclusion in ChatGPT is either misunderstanding how these systems work or misrepresenting it.
